I came into politics through the community, serving as a school governor, on local charities and on voluntary groups. I know all politics is local and supporting people with individual problems can really make a difference.
Each year, we help over 8,000 people from our constituency office in Chadderton Town Hall. From advice surgeries, to phone calls, emails, letters, doorstep conversations, and appointments; our local team works tirelessly to help constituents and solve problems for people who often have nowhere else to turn.
Here are just a few of the list of great successes we have been able to win for local people in October:
New speeding checks and survey secured for road in Hollinwood
Reported and got a gully cleared in Chadderton
Helped local taxi driver get access back to their work account
Rectified mistakenly failed Visa extension without incurring cost
