Itโs incredibly sad to hear of the passing of former Mayor of Oldham, Ginny Alexander. She was a wonderful woman and a real credit to Oldham. My thoughts are with Adrian, the family, and all who loved and cared for her. Jim

Pushing for the removal of Clean Air Zone signs – without local people footing the bill …
Through a lack of investment and no proper plan being put in place, the last government were pushing a clean air zone onto Greater Manchester. Delivering for local people & solving problems over the last month
I came into politics through the community, serving as a school governor, on local charities and on voluntary groups. I know all politics is local and supporting people with individual problems can really make a difference. Each year, we help over 8,000 people from our constituency office in Chadderton Town Hall. From advice surgeries, toContinue reading “Delivering for local people & solving problems over the last month”

Chadderton Remembrance Sunday Service
A wonderful show of respect across Oldham, Chadderton and Royton. It was an honour to join with our armed forces, RBL, uniformed groups and the wider community for Chaddertonโs service this year. #LestWeForget#RemembranceDay
This week in Parliament
The house rose for a short recess on Wednesday but it was still a fruitful few days down in Westminster this week. I spoke in the Chamber during a
