Giving millions of households ยฃ๐ญ๐ฑ๐ฌ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ด๐ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น ๐๐๐ฝ๐ฝ๐ผ๐ฟ๐, alongside extending the VAT cut on electricity bills and cutting council tax for around 42,840
properties in Oldham West, Chadderton & Royton.

This will mean around 55% of all eligible retail, hospitality and leisure properties in the North West will pay no business rates at all.

This will help local areas invest in their own priorities.

Investing ยฃ๐ฐ.๐ณ ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐น๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐ถ๐ป ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ป๐ฒ๐ โ๐ฌ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒโ ๐๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ, helping first-time buyers get on the property ladder with deposits as low as 2.5%. The scheme will be targeted at those who need help most, with household income caps and local property price limits.
